The Windan Bridge carries the Graham Farmer Freeway – Stage 2 over the Swan River. The main bridge is 403m long, with 9 spans. It comprises two restressed, concrete box girders on two lines of piers, all of which are architecturally related to the adjacent Goongoongup Railway Bridge.

On the eastern approach a two-span 40m structure allows substantial post-construction soil movements.  This uses multiple prestressed concrete girders, which are also generally used for the other bridges. All piers and pilecaps are cast in-situ and the foundations are driven steel piles.
